My ICQ friends were a significant part of my early computer life and I can't imagine what it would have been like without them. There I have found a sister and a Jeanius,
bumped heads from Toronto to Australia, shared my innermost feelings
with a cupid, felt the warmth of the Sun, had the privilege to "hear"
a deaf friend and have battles of the wits, and many times bolstered
a friend in need of an angel.
They taught
me about far away lands like Brazil and Spain. Made me dream of beaches
in Baja and yacht clubs in Sydney. I have been directed to books like
River God and The Seventh Scroll and have been prompted to explore poetry,
art, music and have reread old English literature like never before.
I have "met" physicists, truck drivers, movie producers/actors/directors,
lawyers, housewives, artists, chief financial officers, entrepreneurs
and others from all walks of life. My online friend Mike was the driving
force behind these web pages in 1997 and a special thank you goes to
him for pushing me and convincing me that I could design a web site
of my own. ((((((Mike)))))) Thanks Hun for all your help. We sure
have come a long way!
Many of my original ICQ friends
continue to make my days better for knowing them. To some I
am Celeste and to others just Heather and "oh oh" yes, some know me
as both. *VBS*
You know who you are. You've been the sunshine that falls softly upon
my shoulders.
Strive to live that your teachers
will seek to become your
friends.
Be grateful for the
slightest token of their
helpfulness.
I
LOVE
each
and every one of you and continue to send guardian angels
to watch over you.
