Into
The
Light

This web page would not be complete if I didn't talk about angels. In 1980 my mother left this world on the wings of angels.  I have since come to believe that angels exist as I have had a celestial visitation that words could never describe. Seeing is believing right? And faith is the evidence of things not seen right? Dante knew.  Angels are all around us, they are here to help, guide, save and comfort us.

Frequently, the appearance of an angel is accompanied by a greatly  heightened sense of brilliant colour, especially blues and greens.  These are the colours I use to paint my angels.  It brings calm and peaceful serenity that descends over you, and this is true even when the angel is not seen.  You remember what you've seen and you're never quite the same again.

Just ask for their love light to shine on you, through you, and around you.
Sophy Burnham wrote
"We know nothing about angels.
We know nothing of this other realm,
except that we are given brief, fleeting glimpses in our hearts.
We hear its singing in lost memories.
We see it at the edge of our eye,
but so ephemerally that when we turn to face it,
it's already gone !"

My mystical quest into the angel realm is still in its infancy, so much to learn and I find it all so encompassing, bringing me to the next spiritual level of my being.  This angel is not perfect that's for sure, but I am constantly aware of peoples' feelings and emotions and I have great faith in humanity. We must refrain from judging people. We all have our own stories to tell. I live life to the fullest, with a "joie de vivre" I wish everyone could experience, for we may never walk this way again.

I miss your laughter, fun, and gentleness.
I miss the things I used to do for you.
I miss the time, now filled with emptiness,
When each day was a stage for something new.
I miss your love, though mine for you remains,
I miss your presence, like a silent chord
That anchored even solitude in grace.
I miss, for my love's labor, the reward
Of seeing some small pleasure in your face.
All these I miss, and yet they are all here
Within my heart, far more than I can bear.

I said, "God, I hurt."
And God said, "I know."

I said, "God, I cry a lot."
And God said, "That is why I gave you
tears."

I said, "God, I am so depressed."
And God said, "That is why I gave you
Sunshine."

I said, "God, life is so hard."
And God said, "That is why I gave you
loved ones."

I said, "God, it hurts."

And God said, "I know."

I said, "God, my loved one died."
And God said, "So did mine."

I said, "God, it is such a loss."
And God said, I saw mine nailed to a cross."

I said, "God, but your loved one lives."
And God said, "So does yours."

I said, "God, where are they now?"
And God said, "Mine is on My right and
yours is in the Light."
